The Nampa Police Department’s Integrated Command Center, is a proactive approach to policing and traffic.
A network of cameras at nearly all Nampa intersections allows for real-time traffic light adjustments, incident response, and license plate scanning.
Nampa police currently respond to more than 200 calls a day with more than half considered “reactionary.”
Being able to see an accident in real time, creates the ability for operators in the command center to activate first responders, sometimes even before 911 calls start coming in.

Cameras help personnel make informed decisions during emergencies. ICC Operators are able to listen to radio calls, pull up live video feeds and relay information to first responders on the scene.
